That's what I'm thinking of. Put a host and the vm's in the dmz or both.
It could be that some people in our company are afraid of that, running vm's in a dmz that run on a host that is not in the dmz.
There are some option I see now.
1. Your idea with just a separate vswitch. I guess that would be the cheapest version
2. Building own host in the dmz with management network in our "normal" esxi management vlan. Not so cheap.
3. Building a total new environment but also separate the management network because of security reason.
I guess that option one or two are the feasible options.
