I notice that you are running vmware on Ubuntu 13.10. I have also installed 13.10, 64-bit, daily build which has been updated as of this morning.
I can't seem to compile the vmware player. See vmware player - Pastebin.com to see the error messages that I am seeing.
Can you point me in the right direction?
